So great to see this on here! I am Henry May's daughter. He died when I was six and I have searched so long for his recordings. I came into possession of this record just a few months ago. And I am so pleased that this image of the flip side of the recording is here. How did you find it? Are there anymore recordings out there? I have written an essay about finding this record (how it came about is truly amazing) and it will be published in this Sunday's NY Times in its "Modern Love" section. ReplyDeleteI am Henry May's daughter and only came in possession of this record about 2 months ago. He died when I was very young and I'm looking for any information about him, his career, and the Gator Record label. Also, an essay I wrote about discovering the recording will be published this Sunday in the New York Times "Modern Love" column.
