No sooner had I expanded the notion that the "W" and "P" suffixes perhaps indicated “Western” and “Pop” then up crops what is essentially a western disc, but with a “P” suffix!

WRIGHTMAN RECORDS
The Hollywood based WRIGHTMAN label appears to have been principally a vehicle to promote songs published through Neale Wrightman Publishers. Releases on WRIGHTMAN had either a W or P Suffix after the issue number, in the absence of any indication as to the significance of these letters, I have been working on the assumption that the “W” stands for Western, and the “P” stands for Pop. The only other observation worthy of bringing to your attention is that each artist who recorded for the label seems to have had two consecutive releases.
