John Dolphin's RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD label was primarily known for its Rhythm & Blues releases; However, tucked away on the label was a handful of Hillbilly releases.

  1. Composer Murry Wilson: I was just wondering if this is Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson's (of the Beach Boys fame) father. Could be possible.

  2. It is. "Two Step, Side Step was also recorded by Bonnie Lou, Lawrence Welk, and I believe Johnny Lee Wills (or one of Bob Wills' brothers). There was a made for TV bio pic about the Beach Boys and that song was used very prominently in the film.
