  1. Your last dozen or so sound files do not show "DivShare" logo on right, only "share". Instead of downloading file when clicking, it brings up playback only. Is this by design? Or did different code start being used?

  2. I have an ongoing problem with the DivShare player. Will try to rectify this problem and reinstate the download option.

  3. Sonny Davis is my uncle and his twin sister Honey is married to Sleepy Jeffers.

  4. Regarding Pacemaker 1003, I had always heard that the record was issued under Tillman Franks' name to obscure Webb Pierce's contractual obligations to another record label. Last year, I was surprised to locate a copy of this record issued under Pierce's name with no reference to Franks. Perhaps this is an earlier pressing. See photo here:

As for "Pacemaker 1011 mislabeled as Pacemaker 1101," here's a photo of the record with the correct 1011 label:

  7. Al,

Are the two Bill King singles ACA masters? These were supposedly recorded in Houston. "The Ranch Hands" are Dickie McBride's Ranch Hands, the same group that recorded for MGM, Freedom, and Ayo.

    1. Bill King was my father and he wrote and recorded the songs on the two albums. I still have a couple copies of the first album listed. This is my first time to blog on this site, and will continue to monitor in the future for updates.
