RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD (Part One)
John Dolphin's RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD label was primarily known for its Rhythm & Blues releases; However, tucked away on the label was a handful of Hillbilly releases.
It is. "Two Step, Side Step was also recorded by Bonnie Lou, Lawrence Welk, and I believe Johnny Lee Wills (or one of Bob Wills' brothers). There was a made for TV bio pic about the Beach Boys and that song was used very prominently in the film.
Composer Murry Wilson: I was just wondering if this is Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson's (of the Beach Boys fame) father. Could be possible.
