COTTON HENRY



Cotton Henry's RURAL RHYTHM disc dates from the early sixties, but the recordings sound much earlier."Devil On My Shoulder" was recorded by Johnny Tyler for RURAL RHYTHM three or four years earlier.

  2. 'Trusting You ' is also a cover of an earlier west coast release.
    Bill Woods with vcls by Cliff Crofford released his in 1949 on Modern 20 - 1020.
    Cottons version here is very very similar to that much earlier tune also.
    uncle jimmie o'neal is credited with being co-author on that pressing..
